The annual  Ohio Council on School Board Attorneys’ (OCSBA) School Law Workshop is being held on Tuesday, Nov. 13, in rooms A 210-212 at the 2018 Capital Conference (http://conference.ohioschoolboards.org/2018/). This year’s agenda includes discussions on school safety strategies, board member ethics, special education disputes, negotiations after the Janus fair share fee ruling and a review of the latest Office for Civil Rights’ communications. The workshop starts at 8:00 and will end at 3:30. This program has been approved by the Supreme Court of Ohio Commission on Continuing Legal Education for 5.50 hours of CLE credit as well.

As a reminder to OSBA and OCSBA members, the entire OSBA Legal Division will be at the Capital Conference and won’t be back into the office until Wednesday, Nov, 14. We hope to see many of you there!
