For over 55 years, OSBA’s annual Treasurers’ Clinics have kept treasurers, business managers, board members, administrators and treasurer’s office personnel updated on the most current information related to school district fiscal issues. We hope you’ll join us at one of this year’s clinics.

Professional development credit

OSBA is pleased to announce that the Treasurers’ Clinics have been approved for five continuing professional education (CPE) credits. Application also has been submitted to the Office of the Ohio Treasurer for Center for Public Investment Management (CPIM) credit. Attendees also can fulfill other local and state professional development requirements by attending an OSBA Treasurers’ Clinic such as, in-service and local professional development committee credits.

Price reduction

In an effort to make the clinics more accessible to your staff, the cost for participation in this full day of professional development has been reduced to $120.

Agenda

This year’s agenda will cover a variety of topics, including Cybersecurity with K-12 technology; a discussion of internal controls, segregation of duties and common audit comments with the auditor of state’s office; understanding the current market, diversification and investment policy statements; and more.
