School Law Workshop

OSBA’s annual Capital Conference is less than a week away and the division of legal services hopes to see you in attendance on Tuesday, Nov. 14 at the School Law Workshop. The workshop will be held from 9a.m.-4:15p.m. in rooms A210-212. This year we’ll be discussing a range of topics, including recent developments and trends in school law, the status of health insurance today, effective investigations and constitutional law as it relates to public schools.

Professional Conduct for OCSBA Attorneys

OSBA’s division of legal services is offering a Professional Conduct for OCSBA Attorneys webinar, which will be held on Dec. 6 from 1p.m.-2p.m. The webinar will discuss attorney professionalism and ethics as they relate to negotiations. This program has been approved by the Supreme Court of Ohio Commission on Continuing Legal Education for 1.0 total hour of CLE credit, with 1.0 hour of attorney professional conduct instruction.

Hot Topics in School Law

The division of legal services also is offering a Hot Topics in School Law webinar, which will be held on Dec. 12 from 10a.m.-12p.m. During the webinar, attorneys from OSBA’s division of legal services will review the hottest legal topics from 2017 and talk about what we can expect to change in 2018.
