In 2016, OSBA created the OSBA Scholarship Foundation to accept donations for and disburse funds from the four OSBA scholarships. The four scholarships are:
- Bonnie Eddy Educational Supply and Book Grant (BEES-BG) - Northwest Region
- Leo Lucas Scholarship - OSBA Black Caucus
- Lester C. Marrison Teacher Education Book Grant - Northeast Region
- Southeast Region Education Book Grant
Each has a scholarship committee, responsible for setting operating procedures for the committee, recommending and reviewing requirements for awards, reviewing applications and recommending award recipients, and engaging in fundraising activities for the scholarships and grants.
Scholarship committee members are required to review a webinar on fundraising each year. Click to view the webinar.
