Board changes
- Franklin City Board of Education member Ashley Blevins announced her resignation effective Feb. 27.
Administrative changes
Superintendents
- Allen East Local (Allen) hired Julie Willoughby as superintendent effective Aug. 1. She will replace Mel Rentschler who is retiring. Willoughby is currently a curriculum director at Urbana City.
- Columbia Local (Lorain) hired Bill Wingler as superintendent effective Aug. 1. He will replace Graig Bansek who is retiring. Wingler is currently high school principal at Strongsville City.
- Martins Ferry City hired high school principal Joseph Mamone as superintendent effective Aug. 1. He will replace Jim Fogle who is retiring.
- Salem City hired Curriculum Director Jamie Kemats as interim superintendent effective immediately. She replaced Sean Kirkland who died.
- Sandusky City hired Dr. Luther Johnson Jr. as superintendent effective Aug. 1. He will replace Dennis Muratori who is retiring. Dr. Johnson is currently an area superintendent for Columbus City.
