Board changes

• Bellefontaine City appointed Karen Wilson to the board effective Feb. 18. She replaced Rick Reed who resigned in January.

Administrative changes

Superintendents

• Forest Hills Local (Hamilton) Superintendent Larry R. Hook announced his resignation effective July 31.
• Midview Local (Lorain) hired Director of Pupil Services Meredith Udris as interim superintendent. She will replace Dr. Frank Major who announced his resignation effective May 1.
• Vermilion Local (Erie) hired Interim Superintendent Wes Weaver as superintendent effective immediately.

• Former Genoa Area Local (Ottawa) Board of Education member Birthel “Ted” Jeffries Jr. died Feb. 11. He was 84.
