Board changes

• East Liverpool City Board of Education member Mario Hernandez announced his resignation effective Jan. 15. He moved outside of the district.

Administrative changes

Superintendents

• Hicksville EV hired high school principal Aaron Hylander as superintendent effective Aug. 1. He will replace Keith Countryman who is retiring effective July 31.
• Lakewood Local (Licking) Superintendent Scott Coffey announced his retirement effective July 31.

Treasurers

• Bay Village City hired Emily Cundiff as interim treasurer effective immediately. She replaced Meghan Rohde who retired.

Sympathies

• Former St. Marys City Board of Education member John Louis Vogel died Jan. 7. He was 80.
