Membership in the Ohio School Boards Association is open to Ohio’s city, exempted village, local and joint vocational school district boards of education, educational service center governing boards and the State Board of Education. These entities become members upon payment of dues. Each member board is entitled to appoint one of its members as a delegate to the annual business meeting or other called meeting of the association with the power to vote.
Public boards of education that are eligible for OSBA membership but choose not join do not have access to OSBA’s services.
