The Ohio Department of Education posted new resources on the Reset and Restart Education website to assist mandatory reporters in preventing abuse and neglect, as well as a new resource guide for families and caregivers.
The Champions for Ohio’s Children and Families resource outlines important information about who is required to report suspected abuse or neglect. It also offers tips for how to identify individuals, including students, who may be in danger and ways to help families that need support.
Additionally, a new Resource Guide for Families and Caregivers provides helpful ideas and advice about how to support students as they navigate remote learning.
