As we wrap up the 2023 forums, OSBA's Chief Executive Officer Dr. Kathy McFarland will join us as we discuss the state of the association and what we hope to achieve in 2024.
About McFarland: Dr. Kathy McFarland is the chief executive officer at the Ohio School Boards Association. A former educator, McFarland served as a principal, assistant principal, high school teacher and adjunct professor. She earned her bachelor’s in communications from North Carolina State University, where she swam competitively. She continued her education at the University of Dayton, where she completed her master’s in educational leadership. She earned a doctorate in educational leadership at Ohio University.
