Ohio Department of Education
The Ohio Department of Education released its Data Insights report that provides information on how the pandemic has impacted education. The report includes information on school enrollment, school attendance and spring assessment results. Click here for a link to the report.
Ohio Redistricting Commission
The Ohio Redistricting Commission voted to accept a proposed map by a vote of 5-2. The proposed map did not receive bipartisan support, which is required by the Ohio Constitution to implement a 10-year map. Members of the commission indicated that the proposed map will be the working document and deliberations will continue as the members of the commission try to reach a consensus. The commission will need to have a final vote on the map before the Sept. 15 deadline.
