The Ohio Department of Health released updated quarantine guidelines for K-12 students and adults who are exposed to an individual with COVID-19 in a classroom setting. Ohio Department of Education
Deputy State Superintendent Dr. John Richard announced that he will be leaving the Ohio Department of Education on Oct. 8, 2021. At the July 13 State Board of Education meeting, Dr. Richard was appointed as the interim superintendent effective Sept. 24, 2021, due to the retirement of State Superintendent Paolo DeMaria. The State Board of Education will need to appoint a new interim superintendent.
