2024 STATE LEGISLATIVE CONFERENCE
TUESDAY April 23rd, 2024
at The Plaza Columbus Hotel at Capitol Square (formerly known as the Sheraton at Capitol Square)
Co-Sponsored by: BASA, OASBO, & OSBA

Connect with legislators and gain insights from key policy makers at the 2024 State Legislative Conference.

2024 promises to be another challenging year at the Ohio Statehouse. It is imperative that school board members, superintendents and treasurers actively convey their districts' needs and priorities to legislators. The 2024 State Legislative Conference is a golden opportunity to do just that, providing a platform to emphasize the need for a robust public school system and to humanize these issues by sharing the local impact.

The morning session offers school district leaders briefings on proposed legislation and updates useful for their discussions with legislators later in the day. To maximize impact, attendees are encouraged to schedule office appointments with legislators for that afternoon anytime after 1 p.m. Legislators will be invited to join district leaders during the luncheon.

This year's State Legislative Conference and Luncheon will take place at the Plaza Columbus Hotel at Capitol Square (Formerly known as the Sheraton) in the Governor's Ballroom (2nd Floor) 75 East State Street, Columbus OH 43215. For directions and parking information please call the hotel directly at 614-365-4500.
