The OSBA Capital Conference App. allows you to experience the conference like never before. You can find the time, date, and location for Sessions, the Student Achievement Fair, and the Trade Show. You can also find out additional details and information on speakers and vendors. This app. supports Android, iPhone, iPad, and BlackBerry models starting with the Storm. There is also a mobile website that allows you to view the app from your computer or other mobile devices.

 

Downloading the Native App: 

  1. On your mobile device go to m.magtogo.com/osba

If your device is not supported or you want to view the app on your computer, you can still use the mobile website. Just go to m.magtogo.com/osba and start using the mobile website!

Registration:

Registering the app will unlock the My Sessions feature which allows you to create your own schedule and sync that schedule on all of your devices. You do not have to register to use the app!  In order to register, you will need the email address you used to register for Capital Conference. Just type that email address in and the My Sessions feature will be available.  If you did not provide an email then you will not be able to use this feature. Your email address will not be shared or added to any mailing lists

Using The App.

There is a list of features on the home page to help you get to the information you would like to see. Each feature listed is a button. Press a button to go forward, use the back buttons to go back a page, and press the home button to return to the home page. The available features are as follows:

Alerts:
This is where updates and messages form OSBA can be viewed.

My Sessions:
This feature is only available if you have registered your email address by pressing the register button and entering your email address. It allows you to create a schedule that syncs between all your devices.

  1. Press the My Sessions button to get started
  2. Check the box of the sessions that you want to add to your schedule
  3. When finished hit Submit All
  4. Once submitted, the name, date, time, and location will be listed at the top of the page in chronological order
  5. You can view and update your list on any device that has been registered

Schedule:
Displays all of the conference events in chronological order. You can rate the event, add it to the calendar on your device, find it on a map of the building, or read more details and information about the event.

  1. Press the Schedule button
  2. Press the button for the day you would like to view
  3. Press the button for the event you would like to view
  4. Each event will have map, calendar, and rating buttons as well as details and information

Note: The ratings you provide are confidential and will only be seen by OSBA

Exhibitors:
Lists all trade show exhibitors in alphabetical order. The search bar at the top of the page can help you find exactly what you are looking for. Each vendor page has details and information for that vendor and a map button.

Student Achievement Fair:
Lists all the Student Achievement Fair participants in alphabetical order. Each Student Achievement Fair page has details and information for that SAF participant and a map button.

Sessions:
Lists all sessions in alphabetical order. The search bar at the top of the page can help you find exactly what you are looking for. Each session page has details and information for that session, a map button, a calendar button, and rating buttons.

Maps:
Shows a map of the Columbus Convention Center.

Help:
Allows you to submit a request for technical assistance. Only use this button for technical trouble with the app. For general help about the conference, please contact OSBA staff.

Share:
This button allows you to share the information on the page you are viewing through Facebook, Twitter, and email.

Resize Text:
You may notice a large letter T and a small letter T in the bottom right corner of the page. On the mobile website there is a large and a small letter A in the top right corner. Press the larger letter to increase text size for that page, and the smaller letter to decrease.
