The ESC of Cuyahoga County, Cleveland Municipal and Bedford City explains how the Cuyahoga County Regional Ninth-grade Summer Academy targets 100 “academic middle” students in 12 districts to provide rigorous educational and college readiness opportunities on a college campus as they transition to ninth grade.

Strasburg-Franklin Local (Tuscarawas) and the Tuscarawas Chamber of Commerce describe the region’s exploration of college and career readiness — the planning, relationship building and commitment necessary to hold a regional meeting with the goal of developing relationships between the education and business communities so students have the skills to succeed after graduation.
