The following qualifications are the minimum skills expected in a successful candidate: Prior School Treasurer/CFO experience is preferred; an excellent communicator- both verbal and written skills; holds a valid Ohio Treasurer’s License and understands Ohio school finance; a collaborative and strategic leader; willingness to actively engage the community and various organizations; values teamwork; relationship builder who can build trust; strong interpersonal skills for effective interactions with the Board of Education, staff, students, parents, and the community; ability to foster and maintain an atmosphere of respect and trust; experience with COPs, financing, bond experience preferred; can lead a staff of six; maintain great relationships with the partnerships in the community and local governing officials.
