Qualifications: Current state of Ohio Superintendent license; successful experience as a public school administrator; visionary educational leader that promotes the pursuit of educational excellence; proven ability to enhance educational programs that provide an excellent education to every student; proven ability to model a professional presence; ability to engage the business, civic organizations, and community in promoting the district’s role in the community and the educational opportunities provided to students; proven ability to develop, nurture, and model effective professional working relationships with all school district employees that includes mutual trust and respect; demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills that will inspire faculty and staff to excel; high level of professional integrity and proven performance of being enthusiastic, positive, and possessing a strong work ethic; ability to communicate and inform the board of education about current activities and events that have a potential impact on the board of education’s ability to provide an excellent education; ability to support the board of education members and provide timely updates on school district matters.
