OSBA Journal magazine

Front cover of April 2017 Journal issue

The Journal — OSBA’s flagship publication — features association activities, innovative articles, pictures and reports of direct interest to Ohio’s public education management teams. Published six times a year as a membership service, the Journal has a circulation of nearly 6,000. Recipients include school board members, superintendents, treasurers, business officials, legislators, State Board of Education members, other Ohio education associations, state school boards associations around the nation, college and university officials, and the news media.

The Journal includes feature stories that highlight school districts and student achievement. It also features columns by association staff to help board members and administrators in their roles. Each issue focuses on an issue relevant to school districts. Past issues have focused on school facilities, school safety and security, new board members, special education, transportation issues and the impact of elections on school districts.
