Included in his/her duties, the immediate past president:

• gives counsel to the president;
• serves as the chair of the Nominating Committee;
• serves as a member of the Capital Conference Planning Committee;
• attends the COSSBA Leadership Conference and the COSSBA Advocacy Conference;
• serves as a delegate to the COSSBA Delegate Assembly at their annual conference;
• attends meetings of Ohio’s education management organizations; and
• performs such other duties as the Board of Trustees may assign.
