Job Descriptions

Job descriptions are written statements that specify the requirements, responsibilities and working conditions of a particular job. They are vital management tools for organizational planning, budgeting, and personnel administration.

OSBA offers resources to help districts understand the importance of accurate job descriptions, the process for developing job descriptions, and relevant federal and state resources. OSBA also offers sample job descriptions templates that can be used to review or update existing job descriptions or to write new job descriptions.
