Contract Analysis Service

One of the first steps in preparing for negotiations is deciding exactly what needs to be proposed. The best place to start is by reviewing your current collective bargaining agreement.

This is the perfect time to look at existing language and update or remove old provisions, add new language required by recent law changes or revise language that just isn't working for the district any more. Also consider the impact any grievances or arbitration decisions have on existing contract language as well as board policy changes that need to be reflected in the contract.

OSBA has provided a popular, low-cost contract analysis service for its members for more than 25 years. We can analyze your existing contract language, make suggestions for improvements and note provisions that should be retained without any modifications. We'll also discuss recent changes in law and how they might affect the contract and what proposals you might expect from the union.

All in all, OSBA's contract analysis service is an effective, low-cost way of getting started for negotiations.
