Date: June 10, 2022
Time: 8:45 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Hear from experienced education lawyers and discuss the latest developing legal issues in schools at the Annual OCSBA School Attorney Workshop. We'll have sessions on Title IX, the recent legislative efforts to limit the promotion of "divisive concepts" in schools, and a review of some of the ethical, professional and personal dilemmas that can surface for attorneys who represent boards embroiled in conflict or controversy. Also, hear from representatives from the state auditor's office and a panel of experienced arbitrators. This program will be offered in-person and virtually and has been approved by the Supreme Court of Ohio Commission on Continuing Legal Education for 5.5 total CLE hours, with 1.5 hour of attorney professional conduct instruction.
This event is for OCSBA members only. Please contact Lenore Winfrey (email@example.com) if you are interested in becoming an OCSBA member prior to attending this workshop.
