To allow intercollegiate athletes to earn compensation from their name, image, or likeness, to legalize and regulate sports gaming in this state, to levy a tax on businesses that provide sports gaming, and to make other changes to the Gambling Law.
To require the Tax Commissioner to administer a temporary amnesty program from April 1, 2021, to May 31, 2021, with respect to delinquent state taxes and fees, to repeal Section 1 of this act on June 1, 2021, and to declare an emergency.
To require the reporting of information on and legislative review of property tax exemptions.
To temporarily allow income tax credits for beginning farmers who participate in a financial management program and for businesses that sell or rent agricultural land, livestock, facilities, or equipment to beginning farmers, to modify the law governing certain tax increment financing arrangements, to alter the types of vehicles that may be purchased at a motor vehicle show, and to permit, for a limited time, the abatement of unpaid taxes, penalties, and interest for certain municipal property.
To expressly exempt persons authorized to go armed within a school safety zone from a requirement that peace officer basic training be obtained and to require that those persons successfully complete firearms training that meets or exceeds the training requirements for concealed handgun licensees for the exemption to apply.
To make operating appropriations for the biennium beginning July 1, 2021, and ending June 30, 2023, to levy taxes, and to provide authorization and conditions for the operation of state programs. |
To require local governments that contest property values to formally pass an authorizing resolution for each contest and to notify property owners.
To enact the "Ballot Uniformity and Transparency Act" to modify the form of election notices and ballot language for property tax levies.
Regarding technology-based educational opportunities for, and the enrollment of, military children
To revise the law regarding agricultural leases.
